I have been viewing properties with the view to buy for the last two months and although I have had a mix of good and poor estate agent responses to viewing applications, I felt I had to review Jukes because not only did they answer my call at 7.30pm, they were able to arrange the viewing for the next morning at 9.30am as I was in the area. The lady from Jukes was there when I arrived and she was a breath of fresh air. I am useless at names but I’m pretty sure she was called Kirsty. I don't have enough praise for Jukes. They made the seemingly impossible not only possible but easy. Meaning that my dream move, which had fallen through with another estate agent, actually happened. With the previous estate agents I had faced delays, silences, untruths, immense stress & ultimately defeat, so I really do know how much of a step above Jukes are. We bought our flat two years ago through Jukes Estate Agents and when me and my partner decided to sell and buy a house, jukes were always going to be the agents we wanted to use. We loved the way they sell when we bought a property they were selling and it’s exactly how we wanted our flat to be sold! It’s been on the market just 3 weeks and Geoff and Lee have sold it already. Our selling and purchasing journey started in January 2025, I called jukes to view a property which we had seen they had listed.I spoke with Lee, he explained how everything worked and booked us a valuation on our property (had no idea having sold our property, placed us in a better position).I was sceptical about the deposit system at first, but once it was explained we could see the benefits of doing it this way.We put in the offer, which was accepted and quickly got our house on the market which sold in 30 days. Lee and Geoff were happy to accommodate our requests that viewings had to accommodate our boys, they made the process easy, and stress free.From that point it was all going smoothly. The purchase then became tricky with lots of delays from the chain above. Lee was more than happy to take my many phone calls and emails chasing the progress.During the delay in exchange and complete it became apparent that the deposit system works. Our buyer threatened to pull out on a couple of occasions due to the delays which were out of our control. If it wasn’t for our buyer paying their deposit I honestly think they would have walked away.The team at jukes were professional, easy to approach, understanding, friendly and very helpful along the way. They say it how it is no pretence or empty promises.Delays in chains can lead to significant stress, we did experience many complex issues up the chain but finally Jukes got it over the line and we moved into our family home in August.They say moving is one of the most stressful things you do in life, but Lee honestly made the process bearable and we had a laugh along the way.If anyone is considering selling their home please do speak with jukes you will not be disappointed, trust the process and the deposit system works take it from someone who’s been there.claire mabbutt8 September 2025
