Christmas number 1
LadBaby has been the UK Christmas number 1 single for the past five years, with hits: ‘Food Aid’, ‘Sausage Rolls for Everyone’, ‘Don’t Stop Me Eatin’, ‘I Love Sausage Rolls’ and ‘We Built This City’.
The last time someone else held the top spot was Ed Sheeran in 2017 with ‘Perfect’. Back then the average house price was £225,330. As of September 2023, it is £291,385, 29% higher.
LadBaby has had more Christmas number ones than any other artist, surpassing even the Beatles. Will there be a new contender this year? Source: #Dataloft (https://inform.dataloft.co.uk/), ONS, UK HPI Sep 23 v Dec 2017.
No more Ladbaby?
Ladbaby have announced they will NOT be releasing a Christmas single this year, so there WILL be a new Artiste at number 1 on December 25th.
Who would have thought it!
Firstly, surely it is inconceivable that Ladbaby thought they would ever get 1 let alone 5 Christmas chart toppers! If you have never listened to one, then you should! They are quite funny!!
However, what is quite interesting, is that property has risen by so much during their Christmas domination! 29% is a massive rise in just 5 years.

Jukes Estate Agents Harlow love these quirky sets of data that they get through their subscriptions to various companies. What they then enjoy most of all is breaking it down to what is means for Harlow. They do this because nationwide UK figures are often not reflective of any one given area.
Harlow house prices have risen 13.73% over the last 5 years. That’s a healthy return in anyone’s book!
