FLATS
Flats currently stand at 125 days as of April 2026.
As you can see from the graphic above, selling times for Flats in Harlow has increased month on month since December 2025 and the current standing of 125 days is higher than it has been in the last year!
TERRACED
Unlike Flats, Terraced property is taking considerably less time to sell now than at any time over the last year apart from Dec 25 when it was super fast at just 31 days. During 2026, selling times have been decent.
SEMI DETACHED

Semi Detached property is also doing well. Again, there was a false set of figures for December 2025, but the current selling time of 61 days is better than it has been in the last year. The difference in selling times for the four months of 2026 against the last 7 months of 2025 is quite astonishing and long may it continue!
DETACHED
In total contrast, Detached property just like Flats have seen a marked increase in selling times. Currently 109 days, this is higher than at any time over the last year. If you look at the graphic for Detached and Semi Detached, they are almost opposites of each other.
CONCLUSION
It’s rather odd that Detached & Flats are both doing poorly when it comes to selling times, and they are the cheapest and most expensive types of property. Therefore, we cannot say its a price thing! We can definitely say that with Detached property it may very well be a price thing but with Flats it can only be that they are not proving as popular as Terraced and Semi Detached.
