Many people think that Harlow will top the charts for all types of crimes in Essex. The following data is for the last 12 months and is supplied by Plumpot (https://a.plumplot.co.uk/).

Whilst Harlow does get tow of its postcode sectors in the top 10 Essex hot spots for Vehicle Theft, it is worth noting that there are affluent areas such as Orsett, Chigwell & Buckhurst Hill that also make the top 10. This is undoubtedly down to criminals targeting areas where top end vehicles tend to be. Again, this is not right BUT, it explains why CM17 0 is in the top 10.
