It is always nice to know who does what when it comes to estate agents and how they performed throughout 2025.
Here at Jukes Estate Agents in Harlow, we are fully aware that we are the smallest estate agency in the town. Yes, there are singular self employed agents working in Harlow, but they are backed up by huge national agency machines. There are many large national agencies in Harlow as well and the figures below relate to the top 12 performing agents.
Yes there are agencies that sell 300 or more Harlow properties a year BUT, oddly, they NEVER mention the 80, 90 or 100 they didn’t sell or indeed the 20, 30 or 40 that fell through.
Percentages are what really counts isn’t it?
For example, if you had the choice of surgeons to operate and save your life, and one surgeon had saved 300 people this year and the other had only saved 100, you’d choose the one who had saved 300 right?
What if you then discovered that the one who had saved 300 also lost 150 and the one who only saved 100 had only lost 16? You then choose surgeon number 2 wouldn’t you?

12 weeks is a good point of reference when it comes to selling times as the current average selling time in Harlow is 12 weeks (84 days).
Again, Jukes come top with 82% of there stock sold quicker than the current average.

Price reductions are inevitable occasionally. However, with so many properties being over valued, it is no wonder there are so many properties being reduced.
Rightmove say that a property that has undergone a price reduction has a 10% chance of NEVER selling. Of course, this means that 90% still go on to sell. However, of the 90% that do go on to sell, they sell for (on average) for 3.4% less than the NEW ASKING PRICE. 40% sell for 5% less than the NEW ASKING PRICE!

Conclusion
With over 2,100 properties being listed in 2025 and just 985 selling and completing, it has become crucial to choose the correct agent.
Every agent will tell you that they are the best, and why wouldn’t they. However, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Whether it is the agent who sells the highest percentage of stock, the one who sells the highest percentage of stock quicker than the current average selling time, the agent who has the least amount of properties that has to have a price reduction, or the agent the sells for the best price, then there is only one choice.
