In the last 12 months there has been 1,015 properties sold in Harlow. Data supplied by The ONS (Home – Office for National Statistics). The 1,015 properties sold realised an average sale price of £346,685.
ANNUAL CHANGE IN HARLOW PROPERTY PRICES
PROPERTY SOLD IN HARLOW BY PRICE BAND
By far the most popular price band sold in the last 12 months is property priced £300,000 – £400,000.
402 or 39.6% were in this price band.
£400,000 – £500,000 properties came second with 168 (16.55%) selling.
Third were properties priced £250,000 – £300,000 with 124 (12.21%) selling.
This means that 68.36% of all properties sold were priced £250,000 – £500,000.

Last 11 years property sales
The chart above makes interesting reading. 2015-2020 saw a year on year decrease in number of property sold from 1,424 in 2015 to 1,048 in 2020.
2021, that infamous year after lockdown saw sales soar to 1,532. We think it is going to be many years before we see figures of that magnitude again.
The low point (2023) was of course, a direct result in the now infamous Liz Truss mini budget of Oct 2022 which lead to a surge in interest rate increases making mortgages unaffordable for many people.
